Middle Tennessee State University Athletics announced Oct. 16 that the Blue Raider Pet Club is returning for its fifth year in Murfreesboro, with the program presented by Raising Cane’s, according to the university’s announcement.
The club costs $20 per pet and is open to pets of all kinds, the announcement said. Each membership package includes an official Blue Raider Pet Club leash, a Blue Raider tennis ball, a custom bandana and a Fetch-It toy.
Pets may be selected as “Pet of the Game” and featured on the videoboard during football, basketball, baseball and softball games, according to Athletics. Members will also receive invitations to Bark in the Park events hosted by Blue Raider Baseball, Softball and Tennis; dates are expected to be announced this spring.
Packages are to ship within 10 days of purchase to the address on the buyer’s Ticketmaster account, the announcement said. To request shipment to a different address, purchasers should email mtmarketing@mtsu.edu immediately after buying. New members should receive a welcome email from the Blue Raider marketing team within one week; they must reply with their pet’s name and photo to activate eligibility for Pet of the Game promotions.
