Middle Tennessee State University alumni are scheduled to perform Thursday, Nov. 5, at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, in a show called “MTSU Night at the Opry,” according to an MTSU announcement. The show is set for 7 p.m., the university said.
MTSU said the six performances will feature Jessi Alexander, HARDY, HunterGirl, LANCO, Eric Paslay and The Secret Sisters, with alumna Laura Rogers performing with the duo. Three members of LANCO are MTSU alumni, according to the announcement.
The event is part of the yearslong collaboration between MTSU and the Opry, the university said. MTSU Provost Mark Byrnes said the partnership began to promote the work of the Charlie and Hazel Daniels Veterans and Military Family Center, and also supports students and alumni in the university’s Scott Borchetta College of Media and Entertainment.
The announcement identifies HARDY as a 2013 graduate, HunterGirl as a 2020 graduate, Eric Paslay as a 2005 graduate and Laura Rogers as a 2019 graduate. It identifies LANCO members Chandler Baldwin and Jared Hampton as 2014 graduates and Eric Steedly as a 2013 graduate.
The announcement directs readers to opry.com for information and ticket purchasing; it does not state a ticket price.
